Week 5 Christmas Dec 25

Christmas         December 25, 2017

Reflection Monday, December 25

Readings– Christmas Day— 1st Proper  Isaiah 9:2-7  ~  Psalm 96  ~  Titus 2:11-14  ~  Luke 2:1-14, (15-20)

As we arrive at the celebration of the fulfillment of God’s promise of Salvation, the birth of Jesus, we glorify God for this great and awesome gift.  May our reflections and prayers have so prepared our hearts for Christ’s coming, that he enters us and lives in us and through us now and forever more.

Monday, December 25

 O Blessed Hope, Come

Titus 2:11-13 For the grace of God has appeared for the salvation of all . . . awaiting our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ.

Prayerful Reflection

O Blessed Hope, Come~
As we celebrate and remember
how Christ, our Savior,
was born on Christmas day,
we proclaim:
Blessed are You, Holy One,
who has fulfilled our hope of salvation.
Through the birth, the life,
the death and the resurrection of your child,
you have redeemed your people.
May we live this day and every day
making the joy of Jesus’ presence
real in this world
by bringing hope, peace, joy and love to all.

May you and your loved ones
experience the fullness of Christ’s presence this Christmas Season
and God’s peace in your hearts as you enter the New Year.
