O King of All Nations, Come
Psalm 97:1 The LORD is king! Let the earth rejoice; let the many coastlands be glad!
O King of All Nations, Come~
Remind us that you sent your child
to save not just a few,
but the whole of humanity,
the entirety of all your creation.
You long for us to know ourselves
as brothers and sisters,
through our relationship with you,
through our living together on this one earth.
Bind us together, Holy One,
that we might one day live as a
under the shelter of
your unconditional loving reign.
O Come, O Come, Emmanuel – Ed. Susi Kawolics – O King of All Nations
O come, Uniter of the Nations, hold
all on this earth in your close, loving fold.
Heal wounds and piece together broken hearts
Bring universal peace from varied parts.
Rejoice! Rejoice! O God of Unity,
grant that your realm of peace might come to be.
O Come, O Come, Emmanuel – Traditional – O King of All Nations
O come, Desire of nations, bind
All peoples in one heart and mind;
Bid envy, strife and quarrels cease,
Fill the whole world with heaven’s peace.
Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to you, O Israel!
