Monday, December 3

        O Path Clearer, Come

Luke 3:4  As it is written in the book of the words of the prophet Isaiah, “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord, make the paths of the Lord straight.’”

Prayerful Reflection
O Path Clearer, Come~
As we walk and wander along
the crooked roads of our own making,
summon us back to you.
Call out our names,
beckon us,
tune our ears and hearts to your voice.
Guide us to follow your ways,
to clear the obstacles that obstruct the path
of your mercy and justice.
Mow down the hatred and judgment
that thwart the blooming of your mercy and love.
Lead us in paths of righteousness and peace,
for your name’s sake.
