O Radiant Dawn, Come~
All around us shines
the brightness of the season:
blinking lamps, glowing decorations,
sparkling gifts, glittering displays.
For those with sorrowful souls
and hurting hearts,
the glare can be blinding.
Restore in this world
a glimpse of your shining face,
made visible through
a glimmer of hope, a spark of peace,
a twinkle of joy
that comes from compassion and care.|
May we bring the soft glow
of your tender love
into the oft-blinding glare of this world.
